Today is a special day. It's 12/12/12 and Fleur is turning 12 years old. What an amazing date to turn 12, isn't it? She's been looking forward to this birthday for quite a while. Last week she was interviewed by a journalist from Algemeen Dagblad about this special date, and the article was in the newspaper on December 7th. The photo above was taken by the newspaper's photographer.
It's good to see our girl happy and healthy again. This past year has been a tough year for all of us, and especially for Fleur. I won't share any detailed information on her condition, but we had ups and some serious downs. Earlier this year things didn't look good and her hospitalization and stay in a clinic were one of the toughest periods in our life. Fortunately she's made some great achievements in the past few months, and we are so happy that we can celebrate this special day in each other's company and in good health.
I made Fleur a birthday card using October Afternoon's Farm Girl collection.
I love the denim patterned paper of this collection.
I created this felt flower using one of Papertrey Ink's Bloom Builders dies.
