Congrats

Last Friday one of our friends celebrated his birthday. I made him this card inspired by this card from Betsy Veldman. I kept the design a bit more clean & simple. I used the Linen & Canvas impression plate on the kraft panel, but it's hard to see. I find it hard to make good photos this time of year due to the bad weather and early darkness.

All alpha blocks were adhered with foam adhesive to create more depth...

Supplies: Cardstock: Papertrey Ink (Enchanted Evening, Stamper's Select White), Bazzill Basics Paper (Kraft) | Clear stamps: Papertrey Ink (Alpha-blocks) | Ink: A Muse Studio (Blueberry, Ocean, Bermuda, Eucalyptus, Fern) | Felt: Papertrey Ink (Blueberry Sky) | Button: Papertrey Ink (White & Cream Mix) | Twine: May Arts (Ivory) | Tools: Papertrey Ink (Alpha-blocks Die, Linen & Canvas Impression Plate), sewing machine | Other: foam adhesive

Have a happy Sunday!

  4. Ik ben zo jaloers op jouw mannenkaarten. Bij mij eindigt er vaak toch weer ergens een bloemetje, kantje of glittertje, maar jouw mannenkaarten zijn mooi stoer en strak! Deze is ook weer prachtig!

  6. This is a great card. I love your choice of colors, and how you put that felt star with the button in the corner. After you pointed it out, I was able to see that canvas & linen IP. I love how it gives just the tiniest bit of depth and texture. I think I need that, too.
