Congrats

Sanne is celebrating her 9th birthday today. She's been excited for weeks and today is finally the day. She wanted us to wake her up at 7am because she didn't want to wait too long for her birthday gifts. Well....we woke her up at 8am so we all could sleep in a little on the first day of our holiday break.

I enjoyed making this birthday card for Sanne. Stamping on white cardstock I used the three flower stamps from the Little Lady set to create a background. The banner was made with the Banner Builder set and dies.

To add a bit of texture to my card, I impressed the stamped background with the Linen & Canvas Impression Plate.

Supplies: Cardstock: Papertrey Ink (Vintage Cream, Stamper's Select White, Aqua Mist) | Patterned paper: October Afternoon (Farm Fresh) | Clear stamps: Papertrey Ink (Little Lady, Banner Builder, Congrats All Ways) | Ink: A Muse Studio (Bermuda, Lichen, Cranberry, Papaya, Shell), Versafine (Onyx Black) | Crystals, adhesive dots: Zva Creative | Tools: Papertrey Ink (Banner Builder Collection, Linen & Canvas Impression Plate), sewing machine

Have a wonderful day!

Christmas Gifts

Today I have some Christmas gifts to share. Last Wednesday we had a Christmas dinner party from my work. We always do something special for both owners. We bought them a gift, but each employee was also asked to buy a product and decorate it with a personal note. Of course I wanted to do a bit more than just adding a tag or adhesive label with a note. I tied a piece of burlap to the jar's lid and decorated it with tags.

The Tag Sale #5 and Damask Snowflake dies are two of my favorite winter/Christmas dies from Papertrey Ink. I just love the shape of these dies.

The 2011 Holiday Tags stamp set is another favorite as it is a perfect set to quickly make some gift tags.

Supplies: Cardstock: Papertrey Ink (Pure Poppy, Ripe Avocado), Bazzill Basics Paper (Straw) | Clear stamps: Papertrey Ink (2011 Holiday Tags, Friendship Jar Holiday Fillers) | Ink: Papertrey Ink (Pure Poppy, Ripe Avocado), A Muse Studio (French Roast) | Twine: May Arts, Cards & Wishes | Tools: Papertrey Ink (Tag Sale #5, Damask Snowflakes, Limitless Layers: 1 3/4" Circle Collection) | Other: glitter cardstock, foam adhesive, burlap

Yesterday the girls had their Christmas dinner party at school and as usual I made a little gift for their teachers.

I filled a kraft bag with chocolates and hot chocolate mix. Quick and easy....made at the very last minute. The Kraft Bags Dots and Kraft Bags Stripes are available in my store Cards & Wishes. The bags are great for favors, treats and gift wrapping.

The lovely doilies can be found in my store too.

Supplies: Cardstock: Papertrey Ink (Pure Poppy), Bazzill Basics Paper (Straw) | Clear stamps: Papertrey Ink (2011 Holiday Tags, Bells & Boughs) | Ink: Papertrey Ink (Pure Poppy, Ripe Avocado), A Muse Studio (French Roast, Lichen) | Kraft bags: Cards & Wishes | Doilies: Cards & Wishes | Tools: Papertrey Ink (Bells & Boughs, Limitless Layers: 1 3/4" Circle Collection)

I'll be back with another card tomorrow. Have a great day, and thank you for stopping by.

Got Sketch? 135 and Guest Designer Announcement

This time of year is always busy in our household. Not only because of all the festive activities, but both our girls celebrate their birthday in December too. I haven't had time yet to post my contribution to Got Sketch? 135 that went up on the blog last Monday. As always I had fun working with Valerie's sketch. Papertrey Ink's Cover Plate: Quatrefoil is one of my new favorites.

I stamped the background text with A Muse Studio's Latte ink, covered the vintage cream cardstock with the Quatrefoil die-cut and then stamped a snowflake in Ripe Avocado.

Supplies: Cardstock: Papertrey Ink (Vintage Cream, Ripe Avocado) | Patterned paper: Papertrey Ink (Distressed Dots) | Clear stamps: Papertrey Ink (2011 Holiday Tags, Background Basics: Christmas, Peace Be Still) | Ink: Papertrey Ink (Ripe Avocado), A Muse Studio (Latte) | Button: Papertrey Ink (White & Cream Mix) | Ribbon: Papertrey Ink (Ripe Avocado) | Twine: May Arts | Tools: Papertrey Ink (Cover Plate: Quatrefoil, Limitless Layers: 1 3/4" Circle Collection, Limitless Layers: 2.5" Circle Collection, Damask Snowflakes), EK Success (1 3/4" Circle Punch) | Other: glitter cardstock, foam adhesive

This card is also my entry for the last challenge of 2011 on the A Passion for Papertrey Ink blog. It's been ages ago since I played along with their challenges and I will definitely play along more often in 2012, because I sure have a passion for Papertrey Ink. I didn't read the challenge requirements quite well. I thought the color to use was green, but green has to be included, so it didn't have to be a monochromatic card. Nevertheless, I'm pleased with my card and so are my parents. I made this one for them.

I would like to announce the guest designer for my store Cards & Wishes. It wasn't easy to pick just one designer from the submissions that I received. Therefore, I chose two guest designers. One will guest design in January, and the other one in February. The guest designer for January is Wilma Hilferink. Wilma has a great and colorful style that I like a lot, and I can't wait to see what she will create. February's guest designer is Durvina van Broekhoven. Her style is totally different from mine, but her designs are gorgeous. Thanks to all of you who submitted to this call.

Thank you for stopping by, and have a wonderful day.

Birthday Wishes

Today my sister-in-law Lisette is celebrating her birthday. I lifted this design from Betsy Veldman and this idea from Melissa Phillips, but mine didn't turn out as beautiful as theirs. I had a bit of a hard time with the Crate papers and was not really happy with the card. I didn't have time to start all over, because Lisette lives in Australia and I had to mail out the card to make sure it arrived in time.

I really like my new Quatrefoil cover plate from Papertrey Ink....

Supplies: Cardstock: Papertrey Ink (Rustic White) | Patterned paper: Crate Paper | Clear stamps: Papertrey Ink (Birthdays by the Numbers, Bells & Boughs, Mixed Messages) | Ink: A Muse Studio (Currant, Eucalyptus), Versafine (Vintage Sepia) | Ribbon: Papertrey Ink (Vintage Cream), May Arts | Button: Papertrey Ink (White & Cream Mix) | Twine: May Arts (Ivory) | Tools: Papertrey Ink (Tag Sale #4, Limitless Layers: 1 3/4" Circle Collection, Cover Plate: Quatrefoil), sewing machine | Other: foam adhesive | Sentiment tag: Cards & Wishes

Thanks for stopping by.

Congrats

Last Friday one of our friends celebrated his birthday. I made him this card inspired by this card from Betsy Veldman. I kept the design a bit more clean & simple. I used the Linen & Canvas impression plate on the kraft panel, but it's hard to see. I find it hard to make good photos this time of year due to the bad weather and early darkness.

All alpha blocks were adhered with foam adhesive to create more depth...

Supplies: Cardstock: Papertrey Ink (Enchanted Evening, Stamper's Select White), Bazzill Basics Paper (Kraft) | Clear stamps: Papertrey Ink (Alpha-blocks) | Ink: A Muse Studio (Blueberry, Ocean, Bermuda, Eucalyptus, Fern) | Felt: Papertrey Ink (Blueberry Sky) | Button: Papertrey Ink (White & Cream Mix) | Twine: May Arts (Ivory) | Tools: Papertrey Ink (Alpha-blocks Die, Linen & Canvas Impression Plate), sewing machine | Other: foam adhesive

Have a happy Sunday!

Your Special Day

Today Fleur is celebrating her 11th birthday. She was pretty excited and couldn't wait for us to wake her up this morning and surprise her with birthday gifts. We celebrated her birthday with our family yesterday afternoon. The birthday card I made her was inspired by this card from Melissa Phillips. I just loved the way she used Papertrey Ink's Tiny Tags II set. Fleur is really into blue and purple at the moment, so I decided to use her favorite colors.

And a close up of the cute tags...

Supplies: Cardstock: Papertrey Ink (Stamper's Select White) | Patterned paper: Papertrey Ink (2008 Bitty Dot Basics, 2008 Bitty Star Basics) | Clear stamps: Papertrey Ink (Tiny Tags, Tiny Tags II, Little Lady) | Ink: Versafine (Onyx Black), A Muse Studio (Bermuda, Sky, Ocean, Blueberry, Navy), VersaColor (Violet) | Crystals: Zva Creative | Ribbon: Papertrey Ink (Vintage Cream) | Buttons: Papertrey Ink (Plum Pudding, White & Cream Mix) | Twine: May Arts (Ivory), Cards & Wishes (Plum) | Tools: Papertrey Ink (Medium Scalloped Border Die, Tiny Tags Die), sewing machine | Other: sheet music

Have a wonderful day! Until next time...

Got Sketch? Twelve Days of Christmas: Day 6

The countdown to Christmas has started, and the Got Sketch? Creative Team have been sharing Christmas sketch-based projects for twelve consecutive days. You should really check the Got Sketch? blog to see the projects posted so far. My SIL Lisette kicked off with a gorgeous set of tags.

I love to use the traditional red and green color combo for Christmas cards, but a non-traditional color combo can also be very refreshing. For this card based on Sketch 77 I used Papertrey Ink's Sugar Plum collection.

I used adhesive dots to create more depth...

And stamped the sentiment on a cardstock strip so it really shows off...

Supplies: Cardstock: Papertrey Ink (Fine Linen, Plum Pudding, Simply Chartreuse), Bazzill Basics Paper (Straw) | Patterned paper: Papertrey Ink (Sugar Plum) | Clear stamps: Papertrey Ink (Tree Trimming Trio, Bells & Boughs) | Ink: Versafine (Onyx Black), Papertrey Ink (Fresh Snow), A Muse Studio (Fern) | Crystals: Zva Creative | Tools: Papertrey Ink (Bells & Boughs Die Collection, Double-Ended Banners Die, Doily Details Collection, Medium Scalloped Border Die, We R Memory Keepers (Corner Chomper), sewing machine | Adhesive: Zva Creative (1mm dots)

I would like to remind you that the deadline of the Cards & Wishes Guest Designer Call is tomorrow. One more day to mail your submission.

Have a wonderful day, and thank you for stopping by.

Hope Your Day is Fabulous

Today our sweet niece Renee celebrated her 8th birthday. Can't wait to see her and her family in January when they'll be over from Australia. I was a bit late sending Renee's birthday card, so it didn't arrive on time for her birthday. Hopefully it will arrive somewhere this week.

Supplies: Cardstock: Papertrey Ink (Hawaiian Shores, Stamper's Select White) | | Clear stamps: Papertrey Ink (Beautiful Blooms II, Background Basics: Houndstooth, Signature Greetings, Dot Spot) | Ink: Papertrey Ink (Pure Poppy, Raspberry Fizz, Hibiscus Burst, Orange Zest, Spring Moss, Hawaiian Shores), A Muse Studio (Buttercup), Versafine (Onyx Black), VersaColor (Celadon) | Ribbon: Papertrey Ink (Hawaiian Shores Saddle Stitch) | Button: A Muse Studio | Twine: May Arts | Tools: sewing machine

Oh....and I've been working on a new mini kit that goes up for sale in my store Cards & Wishes very soon. Here's a little sneak peek...

Until next time.

Got Sketch? Card Team Member

I've been a contributor to the Got Sketch? blog for quite a while and some weeks ago Valerie Salmon asked me to join the Got Sketch? Card Team. Accepting a new position may sound a bit weird as I gave up some of my DT positions recently, but I feel that this card team is a great fit. Valerie's sketches are great to work with, and always inspire me.

Today's card is based on the sketch that went up on the Scrapbooks Etc. blog yesterday. Fleur asked me to make a card for one of her teachers who was a substitute for three months while her other teacher was on maternity leave. Her teacher was really pleased with the card and the gift bag filled with delicious cookies.

A close up of the beautiful Autumn Rose felt by Papertrey Ink and cute button from A Muse ink...

And my new A Muse ink that I like a lot...

Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper (Kraft) | Patterned paper: Crate Paper (Random) | Clear stamps: Papertrey Ink (Big & Bold Wishes) | Ink: A Muse Studio (Currant) | Felt: Papertrey Ink (Autumn Rose) | Button: A Muse Studio | Twine: May Arts | Adhesive dots: Zva Creative | Tools: Papertrey Ink (Doily Details, Beautiful Blooms II #1 Die Collection, Sending You Die Collection, Large Scalloped Border Die), We R Memory Keepers (Corner Chomper), sewing machine

Thank you for stopping by. Until next time...

Thinking of You

It's been a month ago since my last blog post. I think it's the first time since I started blogging almost 5 years ago that I've taken a break for so long. I used to create cards almost every day, but I've been lacking inspiration ever since we got back from our summer holiday. I simply couldn't get anything on paper. A creative block like this has never happened to me before. I lost my mojo in the past but never as bad as this time. A low energy level wasn't really helping me either. In order to gain inspiration and pleasure in creating again I decided to give up my DT position at 4heures37, not to reapply for the new term at My Scrapbook Nook and I've taken a temporary break from my magazine work. No deadlines, no stress....and hopefully that will help me to get back in the mood for card making. At first I didn't really miss it, but now - after several weeks - I would like to use my papers, stamps, ink and tools again. I think that's a good sign.

Yesterday I created a sympathy card for a colleague whose father passed away earlier this week. Not the easiest occasion to make a card for, but I enjoyed the creative process again.

A close up of the linen impression...

I love to layer different die-cuts using foam adhesive dots to create more depth...

All supplies by Papertrey Ink unless otherwise noted Supplies: Cardstock: Smokey Shadow, Soft Stone, Stamper's Select White | Clear stamps: Modern Wood Mats, Simple Sunflower, Asian Fusion | Ink: Versafine (Onyx Black), A Muse Studio (Slate) | Adhesive dots: Zva Creative | Tools: Linen & Canvas Impression Plate, Mat Stack 5 Die, Doily Details, Photo Finish Strips

Although I haven't created any cards lately I was creative in an other way. I created new mini kits for my store Cards & Wishes. The first one is a small kit called Sweetest Christmas...

The other Christmas kit is called 'Tis the Season. This kit in traditional red and green is my favorite kit of all kits. I just love all the elements in this kit.

The first sets of both kits sold out real quickly, so I made a few extra kits. I really enjoy composing these mini kits, and it's great to see that they are so well received.

Well, that's all for now. I hope to be back with a new card soon.

Zva Creative September DT Blog Hop

Zva Creative and our talented Design Team welcomes you to join us this month for a blog hop that we feel is always extra special! We thought it would be more fun to add even more chances to win our blog hop prize! See details below.

The summer trade show was in July, which means brand new Zva Creative products. So please keep an eye out for them at your local craft stores.

As you know, Zva offers so many beautiful color groupings for pearls, flowers and crystals. We want to make sure that they shine bright for you, so each designer was asked to share a creation using a specific color or color combination on their blog hop project.

The Blog Hop begins at Kim Hughes' blog. She will have the complete list of all blogs that are participating in case there is a glitch along the way. If you would like to play along, just follow along the blog path. I am linking to one of the Zva designers and that designer is linking to the next and so on. Be prepared to be inspired along the way. Hidden on FIVE of the blogs is a Zva Creative prize package...YAY! Winners will be randomly chosen after the hop is over, so it's important to leave a comment on as many blogs as you can along the way.

The Blog Hop starts today, September 26th and runs through midnight US Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday, September 27h and the 5 winners will be announced on Wednesday, September 28th on each of the five winning blogs. The full list will be found on Kim Hughes‘s blog as well. We will do our best to notify each winner, but it's best if you can pop in to all of the blogs once again on Wednesday...plus, you never know what kind of inspirational creation that you may find there. All you need to do is leave a comment on this Zva Blog Hop post...you do not need to leave a comment on each and every designer's blog post to qualify. The more times you leave a comment along the blog hop path though, the more chances you will have to be one of the lucky winners.

  • Comment to let us know that you posted on your Facebook page about our hop (link to any of the blog hop posts)

  • Comment to let us know that you "tweeted" about our hop (link to any of the blog hop posts)

  • Comment to let us know that you asked your local store to carry Zva creative products. If they already do, that's fantastic, maybe you can suggest other products that they don't carry

Sooo, you have FOUR chances on each blog to win one of our FIVE prizes! That's technically OVER 50 chances.

Today I showcase one of the multi-layered silk flowers and one of the taupe flourishes. The green silk flower is a real eye-catcher. I made this card for a co-worker who celebrates her birthday today. I didn't feel like using any bright and cheery colors on her card, because she and her family are going through a hard time right now.

And a more detailed photo of the flower...

Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper | Patterned paper: Crate Paper (Random) | Clear stamps: Papertrey Ink (Sending You) | Ink: Papertrey Ink (Vintage Touch Tea Dye Duo), Versafine (Vintage Sepia) | Flower, flourish, adhesive dots: Zva Creative | Tools: Papertrey Ink (Edgers #3 Die, Eyelet Lace Border Die, Angled Labels Collection), We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper, sewing machine

The blog hop begins here: Kim Hughes.

Your next stop is here: Carole Maurin.

You may have noticed that it's been almost four weeks ago since my last post. I received some e-mails asking me if I'm doing fine. Well, I am doing fine, but the problem is that I have hardly had any inspiration since I returned from our summer vacation. I haven't been creative in the past few weeks because I simply didn't feel like it. I've lost my mojo before, but never this long and it feels weird because I used to spend many hours a week on card making. The card I made for today's blog hop is the first card I made in weeks and it felt good to work with paper and glue again, but it wasn't an easy process.

Thank you for stopping by, and have a wonderful day.

Happy Birthday, and Zva Blog Hop Winners

My sweetheart is celebrating his 43rd birthday today. We woke him up by singing Happy Birthday to him, and surprised him with gifts and handmade gifts from the girls. We won't have a party today as Eric has to work, and the girls have to play hockey at the end of the day and early in the evening. We'll invite our family for dinner on Sunday. For Eric's birthday card I used Rocket Age from October Afternoon. Happy Birthday, sweetie!

Congrats

Our sweet niece Rebecca is celebrating her 13th birthday today. We sang Happy Birthday to her on Skype, and Eric talked to her for a while. Too bad Australia is a bit too far away to go over and eat cake with her. Fortunately we'll be seeing Rebecca and her family in January 2012 when they come over to Europe for family visits. The birthday card I made for Rebecca is inspired by this card from Betsy Veldman. When we got back from holiday I really had to get in the mood for card making again and Betsy is always a great source of inspiration. My card didn't turn out as cute as Betsy's card as I was really struggling to make something, but Rebecca liked it anyway.

Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper (Kraft) | Patterned paper: October Afternoon (5 & Dime) | Clear stamps: Papertrey Ink (Congrats All Ways, Sweet As Can Be) | Ink: Papertrey Ink (Vintage Touch Tea Dye Duo), Versafine (Onyx Black), Versamark | Button: Papertrey Ink (White & Cream Mix) | Twine: May Arts | Felt: Papertrey Ink (Harvest Gold), Felt on the Fly | Ribbon: Papertrey Ink (Harvest Gold) | Tools: Papertrey Ink (Half & Half Die Collection, Sweet As Can Be Dies), sewing machine | Other: sheet music, felt

I'll be back with another card tomorrow for Zva Creative's August Blog Hop. Have a wonderful day!

Happy Anniversary

Yesterday my brother and sister-in-law celebrated their anniversary. For their card I used papers from The Girls' Paperie that were sent to me by my friend Tanya Tahir. We both are on the DT of Zva Creative and My Scrapbook Nook. I participated in a card kit swap on the Nook forum and Tanya was my swapping partner.

Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper (Kraft) | Patterned paper: The Girls' Paperie | Clear stamps: Papertrey Ink (Damask Designs) | Ink: VersaColor (Pinecone) | Felt flower, pearl brad, adhesive dots: Zva Creative (FL01CB114, BRBK02CA103, AD01CB101) | Doily: Cards & Wishes | Tools: Papertrey Ink (Heart Prints Die Collection, Mat Stack 4 Die), sewing machine |  Other: sheet music, felt

We have a busy weekend ahead of us. The hockey season is about to start again, and Fleur has her first match tomorrow. She's in a new team, and it will be nice to get to meet the other girls.

Thanks for your visit, and have a wonderful weekend.

40

Today my brother is celebrating his 40th birthday. The birthday card I made for him is based on the new weekly card sketch I designed for My Scrapbook Nook. The papers from My Mind's Eye are part of the August kit. Happy Birthday, Peter! Have a wonderful day!

Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper (Kraft) | Patterned paper: My Mind's Ey (Lime Twist) | Clear stamps: Papertrey Ink (Birthday Basics) | Ink: Papertrey Ink (Fresh Snow), Versafine (Onyx Black) | Manila tag: Cards & Wishes | Journaling sprout, twine: Jillibean Soup | Button: Papertrey Ink (Simply Chartreuse) | Tools: Papertrey Ink (By the Numbers Die Collection), sewing machine | Adhesive foam dots: Zva Creative (AD01CB101) | Other: Gesso

Happy Anniversary

Today my dear mom and dad are celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary. 45 Years!! That's wonderful, isn't it?

I sat down this weekend to create an anniversary card for my parents, but it was quite a bit of a struggle. I've hardly created anything in the past few weeks and really had to get in the mood again to make some cards. For this anniversary card I was inspired by this card from my sister-in-law Lisette. I didn’t really copy Lisette's card design, but she inspired me to use certain elements such as a stamped background, the large doily and a heart cut from sheet music.

Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper (Kraft), Papertrey Ink (Rustic White, Pure Poppy) | Patterned paper: Papertrey Ink (Damask Designs) | Clear stamps: Papertrey Ink (Damask Designs) | Ink: Papertrey Ink (Fresh Snow), Versafine (Onyx Black) | Ribbon: Papertrey Ink (Raspberry Fizz) | Button: Papertrey Ink (White & Cream Mix) | Twine: May Arts | Tools: Papertrey Ink (Limitless Layers: 2 1/2" Circle Collection, Parisian Lace Doily), sewing machine | Adhesive foam dots: Zva Creative (AD01CB101) | Other: sheet music

Happy Anniversary, mom & dad. Hope you have a wonderful day! xoxo

I'll be back with another card tomorrow. Until then...

Happy 40th Birthday

It's been more than a week since we got back from a 2-week holiday. Just like last year we spent our holiday in Texel, one of the islands in the north of the Netherlands. Fortunately the weather was reasonable. We had some days of rain, but mostly it was dry and sunny. We had a great and relaxing time. If you would like to see some photos of Texel hop on over to Eric's blog.

Today my sweet friend Angy has been celebrating her 40th birthday. I made her this card based on the card sketch I designed for My Scrapbook Nook. The large manila tag is available in my store.

Supplies: Cardstock: Papertrey Ink (Vintage Cream) | Patterned paper: October Afternoon (5 & Dime) | Clear stamps: Papertrey Ink (Big Birthday Wishes) | Ink: Papertrey Ink (Vintage Touch Tea Dye Duo), Versafine (Onyx Black) | Manila tag: Cards & Wishes | Tools: Papertrey Ink (By the Numbers Die Collection), sewing machine | Adhesive foam dots: Zva Creative (AD01CB101)

This past week the girls went to the IJVO, a summer camp in our town. On the first morning they built a shed of pallets with help from some of the parents. Eric helped Fleur and her friends, and I helped Sanne and friends. Well....the dads built the shed. I was there to support them. {wink} Since it's a kids' camp all parents had to leave after 1 hour. The kids had to finish and paint their sheds themselves. Each day they did crafts, sports and games. And of course they could spend time together in their sheds. It was a fun week, and the girls had a blast with their friends. Eric made some photos last Thursday.

Sanne and her friends...

Fleur and her friends...

The girls go back to school on Monday, and we have to go back to work.

Have a great weekend.

Love You Forever

Eric and I are celebrating our 15th anniversary today. We're not married, but we always celebrate the day we officially got together. 15 Years ago we went out for dinner on our date, and this evening we'll do the same. Only this time we'll be joined by our girls. Of course I made him a card. The card is based on the card sketch I designed for My Scrapbook Nook.

Zva Creative July DT Blog Hop!

Zva Creative and our talented Design Team welcomes you to join us this month for a blog hop that we feel is always extra special!

We know that it's a busy time of year with kids home from school and vacations, so we thought it would be more fun to add even more chances to win our blog hop prize! Details below.

It's CHA time which means brand new products. So please keep an eye out for them at your local stores.

Hidden on FIVE of the blogs is a Zva Creative prize package ...YAY! Winners will be randomly chosen after the hop is over, so it's important to leave a comment on as many blogs as you can along the way.

The Blog Hop starts today, July 25th and runs through midnight US Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday, July 26th and the 5 winners will be announced on Wednesday, July 27th on each of the five winning blogs.

To increase your chances of winning:

  • Comment to let us know that you posted on your Facebook page about our hop (link to any of the blog hop posts)

  • Comment to let us know that you "tweeted" about our hop (link to any of the blog hop posts)

  • Comment to let us know that you asked your local store to carry Zva creative products. If they already do, that's fantastic, maybe you can suggest other products that they don't carry

Sooo, you have FOUR chances on each blog to win one of our FIVE prizes! That's technically over 50 chances.

For today's blog hop I made this elegant anniversary card. I used one of Zva's silk flowers as main focal point. I noticed that not everyone is familiar with the gorgeous flowers that Zva Creative carries, so I would like to highlight this product.

Don't you love the beauty of this silk flower?

The white pearl flourishes are one of my favorites as they are so easy to combine with many papers.
