Waltzingmouse May Blog Waltz
I am joining in the Waltzingmouse Stamps Blog Waltz today. It is my first blog waltz since I recently discovered Waltzingmouse Stamps. The theme for this month's blog waltz is Birthday. I have been (im)patiently awaiting for my second order to arrive. I had hoped it would arrive in time for the blog waltz, but since I haven't received anything yet I had to use the only Waltzingmouse Stamps set that I have and that happens to be Very Vintage Labels 4. It's a great set to make your own tags and die-cuts. The border on this card is my most favorite one from the stamp set.
Since I had only one stamp set to play with I was thinking of using that set in a creative way. I had plans to create a background design using one of the border stamps, but I ended up doing something else. While looking closely at the little images that are part of the Very Vintage Labels 4 set I came up with the idea to use one of the 'tag shoulders' along with my Papertrey Ink Large Scalloped Border die. As you can see the 'tag shoulder' stamp fits perfectly in the scallops. I stamped the 'tag shoulder' in Aqua Mist, applied some glue and then added glitter to it.
