Kazan's Sketch #52

I received my latest Papertrey Ink order last week, and finally had a chance to break out some of my new stamp sets. I really wanted to use the A Little Argyle stamp set designed by Lisa Johnson. I am on the Zva Creative DT with Lisa, and I just love her style and admire her creative talent. A Little Argyle is perfect for boys and men cards, but of course can also be used for feminine cards.

I still had to make a card for a friend who recently gave birth to a baby boy. I followed Kazan's Sketch #52 at 2 Sketches 4 You for the design. I really enjoy making my own 'patterned paper' by using background stamps.

Supplies: All supplies from Papertrey Ink unless otherwise noted Cardstock: Enchanted Evening, Spring Rain, Rustic White, Bazzill Basics Paper (Kraft) | Stamps: Enjoy the Ride, A Little Argyle, Polka Dot Basics II | Ink: Vintage Cream, Enchanted Evening, Spring Rain, VersaMark | Button: White & Cream Mix | Ribbon: Enchanted Evening | Twine: May Arts | Foam dots: Zva Creative (AD01CB101) | Tools: Enjoy the Ride Die, Argyle Impression Plate, Medium Scalloped Border Die

Have a wonderful day, and thank you so much for your sweet comments.

  9. Dat is nog eens een echt jongenskaartje! Ik vind het zo knap zoals jij regelmatig met die stempels zelf papier 'maakt'. Het resultaat is, als altijd, weer prachtig!
