Happy Mother's Day Card

As mentioned in my previous post Jennie also requested a Mother's Day card. I was lacking a bit of inspiration and didn't know what to make. I remembered this card by Niki Estes, and used that card as inspiration. I just love the soft look of Niki's card, and it made me want to have her Butterfly Dreams stamp set. Eric took the cards to work last Monday to hand to Jennie. Since I wasn't sure if she liked this Mother's Day card I also gave Eric this card so she could choose the one she liked best. Well.....she bought both cards as she also needed a card for her mother-in-law.

Supplies: All supplies from Papertrey Ink unless noted Cardstock: Sweet Blush, Rustic White | Stamps: Damask Designs, Butterfly Dreams, Vintage Labels, Daily Designs Sentiments | Ink: Sweet Blush, Dark Chocolate, Vintage Touch Tea Dye Duo | Ribbon: Sweet Blush | Button: Sweet Blush | Tools: Butterfly Die, Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels One, We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper, sewing machine | Other: foamtape

Today it's Liberation Day, and that means Eric is also off work. We don't have any special plans for today, but I may go into town this afternoon. Not sure though if the stores are open. Well, I do have some errands to run so I'll go anyway. Our weather isn't great at the moment. I think it's quite chilly for the time of year, and really want it to be a bit warmer. Unfortunately the weather forecast doesn't look too good.

Have a wonderful day, and thank you for stopping by.
