Last evening I made a card based on Kazan's Sketch #50 over at 2 Sketches 4 You. I have been a huge fan of Kazan and Laura's sketches from the very beginning, and it's always fun to play along. Even though it's been ages ago since I last played along. Again I used the wonderful October Afternoon papers. I just love how all their collections mix & match. Here's my take on Kazan's sketch.
Supplies: Cardstock: Papertrey Ink (Vintage Cream) ⎜ Patterned paper: October Afternoon The Thrift Shop, Fly a Kite ⎜ Stamps: Waltzing Mouse Stamps (Very Vintage Labels No. 4), Melissa Frances ⎜ Ink: Papertrey Ink (Dark Chocolate, Berry Sorbet), Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Tattered Rose), VersaColor (Pinecone) ⎜ Ribbon: Papertrey Ink (Spring Moss) ⎜ Twine: Papertrey Ink (Rustic Cream) ⎜ Button: Papertrey Ink (White & Cream Mix) ⎜ Tools: Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels Four, sewing machine ⎜ Other: foamtape
I also plan on making the bonus sketch designed by my sweet and amazingly talented friend Kay.
We have been having beautiful spring weather. Still a bit chilly, but sunny. Have a wonderful day!
